Holy Moly is about Californian comfort food. We don’t do stuffed unicorns - our food is easy to understand, but hard to cook the right way.
We believe in the tradition of Californian breakfast done the right way, from our Specialty Waffles to Huevos Rancheros. We also carefully and lovingly collected Californian cuisine staples, from Cobb Salad to Cioppino. Our pizza dough is fermented for at least 48 hours and is a light, weightless variation of California’s thin crust pizza tradition.
We also do rolls the Los Angeles way: with vivid colours, bright sauces and unusual ingredients. And then there’s the taco. And the burger. And many other interesting dishes, from tapas to special kid’s menu.
Holy Moly is created by local experienced restaurateurs and an experienced, top level brand chef from Moscow. Together, we believe in exquisite quality and little details. We pride ourselves on trying to deliver the best quality that is achievable on the plate.
And we take no shortcuts. Our brioche is done from scratch and baked on the spot, the waffles are created using equipment and technology not used by anyone else in Riga, while the kitchen has more than a dozen of sauces which live one day. Even the kimchi cucumbers you get in our poke and burgers are pickled on the spot.
This is California, dudes. Our sunny place, pierced by sunrays during morning and evening hours, seems lost along the narrow streets of Santa Monica. Over the neon sign on famous and sought-after table 18, there is a real shortboard waiting to be picked up and dipped in the waters of the Pacific.
The music is mostly jazz, the soundtrack created by DJ Jainaro using our inspiration from the perennial greats, the Young-Holt Unlimited. The film sequence on TVs is created by the famous Sekste sisters, who both - one as an actress, another as a creative producer - have made themselves a prominent presence in the film industry in Russia and Europe.
